Family Contribution: Son of Henry Parrett 1826-1909 & Martha Jane Ellison (5 Feb 1845 Virginia - 30 Nov 1921; she was widow of Thomas Ashpole and married Henry Parrett - in Oregon). {{Henry Parrett is bro. of Samuel Parrott 1814-1857}} {{Samuel Larkin Parrett wrote this in early 1950s}}: "Charles Addison (Addie), the fourth and youngest son, was the only one of the four brothers not born on the family homestead on Parrett Mountain. Addie was born in Jackson County, Southern Oregon, while the family was residing there temporarily hoping that the change in climate would benefit Martha Jane's health. After a few months, Addie was brought back to Parrett Mountain and spent the rest of his life on the family farm. He was a good farmer, an upright, progressive citizen, and respected by all acquaintances. Addie was the only musician in the Henry Parrett family, very much enjoying his violin and band instruments."
