Wife of Alison, mother of Clyde, Raymond, Alfred, Roy and Ruby Baker and two unnamed infants (all except Raymond buried at P.V.C.). Sister of Emma. Birth name Harris. Florence and Alison were married in Aurora, Oregon.  Two Harris sisters married two Baker brothers. Known for her strong will and determination -- including derisively with the nickname "Old Lantern Jaw", for her pronounced facial bone structure. Daughter-in-law of pioneers Endymian and Sarah Baker. The Alison and Florence Baker farmhouse (c. 1880) and barn still stand on SW Bell Road, on a remaining portion of the Endymian Baker DLC, owned by great grandson Stephen Baker.
