Cynthia Hayes
A large gathering attended the funeral of Mrs. Cynthia Baker-Hayes, member of one of the old pioneer families of Oregon, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery this morning.
Mrs. Hayes was a member of the first Spiritualist Church of Portland, whose pastor, Mrs. Wiesendanger, conducted the service. The song service was in charge of Mrs. E. G. Jones, of Hood View, and M. E. Buck had charge of the burial.
Mrs. Hayes died at her home in Portland April 9, and was 53 years, 5 months and 3 days old. Cause of death was pneumonia. Deceased was a sister of Matt Baker of Hood View neighborhood.
