Died October 24, at the residence of her son-in-law, John ZUMWALT, in Clackamas County, Mrs Sabrina RUSSELL, aged 74 years, 9 months and 1 day.

Crossed from Missouri in 1850 with her husband, John, four children (a fifth was born on the Trail), and other family members. Her husband ran the mailboat on the Willamette above the Oregon City Falls. Had a sawmill on their Donation Land Claim at Corral Creek. Their daughter, Matilda Clementine, and her husband, John Wallace Graham, operated Grahams Ferry on a portion of the Zumwalt DLC.
