Obituary: Tualatin Valley News, June 15, 1917    Infant Daughter Dies
Veta Delila, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Case who live on Parrott Mountain, passed away on Friday, June 8, at the age of one year, 5 months and 28 days. Little Veta was sick just four weeks and her death was caused by infantile paralysis. She was born at Ladd Hill, Oregon. Funeral service were held Saturday, under directions of W. W. Hollingsworth & Co., and the remains were followed to their last resting place by a large circle of relatives and friends, who mourn her untimely taking away. The parents have the sympathy of their many friends.
